The H.E.A.R.T.S. Fatherhood Engagement Initiative is designed to uplift, empower, and reconnect young fathers with the support, community, and encouragement they deserve. Rooted in our mission to serve youth whose voices are often overlooked, this initiative creates intentional spaces where young men can grow as parents, leaders, and role models. Through outreach in Durham Public Schools, partnerships with community organizations, and inclusive programming that honors each father’s lived experience, we work to break down barriers that have historically limited father involvement. Our goal is simple yet powerful: to ensure young fathers feel seen, valued, and equipped to play an active, positive role in their children’s lives—strengthening families and transforming futures across our community.
