Carter serves as both the Board Chair and as an advisor for the H.E.A.R.T.S. program. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Management from DeVry University and holds a Professional in Human Resources Certification. Carter is a human resources professional with over 12 years of experience. She has severed as a dedicated board member since 2013 and has worked with several non-profit organizations.
Brown is the Founder, CEO and Executive Director of H.E.A.R.T.S. program. Ms. Brown has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Child Development and Family Studies, a North Carolina Teachers License, and is CPR Certified. Currently, Ms. Brown and the H.E.A.R.T.S program are servicing adolescent parents in Durham County to increase the graduation rate amongst young parents and decrease the dropout rate for Durham Public School System. As a seasoned educator and administrator with over 30 years of experience, Kathy Chapman serves as a dedicated board member since 2013 with a Master's in Administration and a Master of Education in Special Education. Chapman is committed to providing a positive environment for young mothers and pregnant teens as they move toward graduating from high school.

PASTOR SCOTT DELK
Pastor Scott is known for his practical biblical teaching, his visionary leadership and his heart to impact the North Carolina Triangle area and abroad. His authenticity and ability to communicate the truth of God's Word in a humorous, dynamic, and revelatory manner helps people understand the Bible and how to apply its teachings to their everyday lives. Pastor Scott is a graduate of Norfolk State University and has furthered his studies for a Masters Degree in Communications. As a former Regional Director of Operations for a major insurance carrier and having over 30 years of ministry experience Pastor Scott has a unique gift mix to lead a church in the modern era. A Ministry School Teacher, Worship Pastor , a House Prophet and Executive Pastor of phenomenal churches in Washington, DC, California and Florida Pastor Scott is ready to reach, raise and release this generation into their God-given destinies in ministry and in the market place.
Mckeithan is the newest BOARD Member for H.E.A.R.T.S.. She has been a committed supporter after witnessing firsthand the support and encouragement H.E.A.R.T.S. provides to young mothers. As a former teen mom that now has 2 teenage daughters, she cherishes the dedication and opportunities H.E.A.R.T.S. provides young mothers. Mckeithan is passionate and committed to working to ensure that teen parents achieve their goals and are supported in a positive atmosphere.
Tierra Daniels is a native of Durham, NC and recently became a board member for the H.E.A.R.T.S program. She holds a bachelor of social work degree from Shaw University and masters of social work degree from North Carolina Central University. Tierra is currently a social worker with Orange County. Tierra is an avid volunteer in her community and has a passion for mentoring to young women. Being a young mother, she knows firsthand that it can be extremely difficult to raise a child while pursuing an education and working simultaneously. The challenges that she has experienced and overcome as a single mother inspired her to become a social worker as well as advocate for young women in the Durham community, that have experienced similar circumstances. She is proud to be a part of the H.E.A.R.T.S program and enjoys having the opportunity, to give back the knowledge and information along to adolescent mothers and fathers to assist them with thriving in their community.

Zenzele Barnes is a Durham native with a passion for social justice and creating equitable communities for all. She graduated from Queens University of Charlotte with a degree in Communication and a minor in New Media Design.
Zenzele currently works as the Community Manager at ReCity Network, a local non-profit organization. Prior to joining the ReCity team, Zenzele completed two years of service with AmeriCorps and worked as the Arts Administration Apprentice at Liberty Arts Studio. As an AmeriCorps VISTA at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County and a City Year Miami member, she focused on program-centered initiatives and youth development. She has also volunteered for two summers with Girls Rock NC as a camp & afterschool program co-director.
In addition to her community-based work, Zenzele strongly believes in the power of art as a tool for expression and empowerment.
