Chapman is committed to providing a positive environment for young mothers and pregnant teens as they move toward graduating from high school.
LaTida brings to us over 5+ years of experience sitting on two additional non-profit Broad of Directors. She has also served as an Event Coordinator, respectfully. We look forward to utilizing her expertise across the board to continue to grow the H.E.A.R.T.S. program.
Assistant Secretary &
Zenzele has a host of community-based experience that she is bringing to the H.E.A.R.T.S program, and in addition to her community-based work, Zenzele strongly believes in the power of art as a tool for expression and empowerment.
Robin brings years of hands-on experience with pregnant and parenting teens in Durham, NC. She is an Associate in Ministry who currently serves and plans to bring her spiritual expertise in the area of Family Life and Parent Education initiative (Blended/Step family/Adolescent/Single Parents) to the H.E.A.R.T.S. program.
Director of Finance
Tiffany has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Business in Accounting with 15+ years of experience. We are excited for Tiffany to bring her experience and passion to the organization.
Interim Development Chair
Amanda is supporting the H.E.AR.T.S. program by way of public education and fundraising development. She has successfully implemented a team that has collected $1,500, toys and necessities for nominated families in need. We look forward to her advancing the H.E.AR.T.S. outreach to adolescent parents in need.
Interim Programming Chair
Alicia L. Andrews,
Alicia brings to us over 10+ years of experience in the non-profit sector. She specializes in program development and sustainability. We are excited to put forth her knowledge and best practices for community engagement as well as mobilization of our program values.
Nigel is bringing something new and innovative to the H.E.A.R.T.S. program. Nigel has the capacity to develop, oversee, implement policies and procedures for effective use of supplies and upcoming H.E.A.R.T.S. facilities.
Starr began serving on the board of director’s in 2019. She obtained her MSW from NCCU and has over 11 years of experience analyzing data within the adolescent population. As a former teen mother of two she is motivated by her passion to help young mothers succeed and overcome adversity.
